The Paramount Building, St John Street, London EC2, is the old Dr Scholl shoes building, now divided into 32 shell apartments. Prices start at pounds 130,000 for a 850 sq ft flat on the first floor, rising to pounds 500,000- plus for an apartment on the seventh floor. Views across the West End from the third floor upwards. Ceilings are 12ft, floor-to-ceiling windows open on to 9ft by 7ft glass balconies. The building will be rendered and painted white. Twelve flats have been sold already.
