Property Update: Code with teeth

LANDLORDS and agents who ignore a new code of conduct on property management could be brought before the courts, according to the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.

It is seeking public comments on proposals drawn up for inclusion in new laws which would allow flat-dwellers to buy out landlords.
