JOHN DRAKE, who holds the national collection of aquilegias in his Cambridgeshire garden, has prepared a comprehensive list of aquilegia seed for sale. It is best sown fresh (September is ideal). He has about 20 different species and many different kinds of Aquilegia vulgaris, the popular granny's bonnet of old cottage gardens. The catalogue is available for three first-class stamps, and the seeds costs pounds 1.20 a packet. Contact Mr Drake at Hardwicke House, Fen Ditton, Cambridge CB5 8TF.
