Three people were arrested and detained in connection with the death of Yann Piat, a French conservative deputy and anti-corruption crusader, AFP reports from Toulon. The suspects include Lucien Perri, 22, who allegedly admitted killing Piat on 25 February, and his accomplice Marco Di Carro, also 22, who allegedly admitted to driving the motorbike used in the killing near Hyeres, in south-eastern France. The third suspect, Gerard Finale, 45, has denied being involved.
