Stiff fine for parrot stuff
ADELAIDE - A bird breeder who tried to smuggle Thai parrots into Australia by stuffing them into his underpants was fined Adollars 22,500 ( pounds 10,000) yesterday, AP reports. Customs officers arrested Leli Ellul at Adelaide Airport after they heard chirping coming from beneath the fly of his trousers. Mr Ellul had four parrots, worth Adollars 18,000 on the black market.
