Peas fail to please Hillary Clinton

New York - One lesson Hillary Clinton did not learn from the broccoli-hating George Bush was that vegetables should not be criticised. Pea growers and processors are defending their product, after Mrs Clinton said that 'hardly anybody likes green peas'. Her comment came during a taping session for Sesame Street. Where the script called for Mrs Clinton to tell children to eat fruits and vegetables, including peas, she substituted apples. Reuter
