'Jetmen' fly behind Emirates jumbo jet

Emirates airline has released a video showing two men with jetpacks flying alongside one of their jets in an 'unprecedented flight formation'.

The two 'Jetmen of Dubai' are Yves "Jetman" Rossy and Vince Reffet, who are both experienced pilots.

They can be seen flying alongside the largest passenger aircraft in the world, the Emirates A380, at a top speed of 170 knots.

The airline said that they shot the video to showcase "showcased just how far aviation has come."

The footage was shot from a helicopter flying 1,500 ft above the stunt flight, which was made to look far easier than it actually was according to the airline.

"While the formation flight looked effortless on film, painstaking planning and meticulous collaboration with an intense focus on safety drove all efforts."
