Jail siege ends
LUCASVILLE, Ohio (AP) - Inmates yesterday left their besieged cell block at the Southern Ohio Correctional Facility, ending a 10-day uprising that left at least eight people dead. The prisoners agreed to surrender after Warden Arthur Tate promised no retaliation against rioters and a review of some prison procedures inmates had opposed.
