Generals freed in priest case
WARSAW - A Warsaw court acquitted two former Communist generals of masterminding the murder of Solidarity priest Father Jerzy Popieluszko in 1984. The court said it was impossible to determine whether Wladyslaw Ciaston and Zenon Platek, who headed secret security forces when Popieluszko was killed by their subordinates, were guilty or not.
