Slovakia draft
Prague (Reuter) - Slovakia's parliament approved a draft constitution on Tuesday, taking another step towards the split of Czechoslovakia into two states. Sixteen members of the Christian Democratic Movement cast the only votes against the draft, saying some of the clauses were undemocratic.
Deputies from the two Hungarian ethnic minority parties walked out after parliament rejected their demands for cultural and territorial autonomy.
