Poet killed
An Algerian poet was found at home with his throat slit yesterday in a Muslim fundamentalist bastion east of Algiers, Reuter reports from Algiers.
Youssef Sebti was the latest in a string of Algerian intellectuals killed this year in violence blamed by the authorities on armed Muslim militants.
