EC approves more aid for refugees in Yugoslavia
BRUSSELS - The European Commission said yesterday it had approved fresh aid to help pay for shelter for refugees in the former Yugoslavia in the coming winter months, Reuter reports.
It said the dollars 164m (pounds 95m) aid would take the European Community's share to about half the total dollars 600m esimated cost of aiding the homeless and other war victims until the end of December.
