Battles resume near Gorazde
SARAJEVO (AP) - Bitter battles persisted near the Muslim enclave of Gorazde yesterday, mocking a Bosnia-wide ceasefire and the presence of UN monitors. A Norwegian monitor was injured by gunfire in Gorazde.
In Croatia, Serbs holding a third of that republic's territory began voting on linking up with their Bosnian brethren.
And in Belgrade, about 10,000 opposition party supporters defied a police ban to demand the release of their jailed and beaten leader, Vuk Draskovic, and the resignation of the Serbian President, Slobodan Milosevic.
