Alfredo Harp Helu, 50, a Mexican billionaire who is part of a group of businessmen close to President Carlos Salinas de Gortari, has been kidnapped by a gang of extortionists, Reuter reports from Mexico City. Mr Harp vanished on Monday in Mexico City.
