More than a dozen mourners at a funeral in Pakistan were killed when the cover of a sewage tank they were standing on collapsed yesterday.
The dead included women and children who were among scores packed into the courtyard of a house in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province's Buner district. At least 20 others were injured in the accident in Jhor village.
Many people in north-western Pakistan lack proper plumbing and often divert waste from their homes into large holes covered with concrete.
