India police say bomb caused explosion in stadium

An explosion outside a cricket stadium in the southern Indian city of Bangalore today was caused by a bomb, a senior police officer said.

At least eight people were injured in the explosion outside the stadium, which is hosting a match of the popular Indian Premier League cricket tournament.
