Nato said a helicopter with the international force crashed in southern Afghanistan.
The military said initial reports indicate that there were no fatalities, but Jilani Farah, deputy police chief in Zabul province where the crash occurred today, said 14 people were injured, including international and Afghan troops.
UK troops are not believed to be involved.
Nato said all personnel on board were evacuated to nearby medical facilities.
The military said the cause of the crash is under investigation, but there is no indication that insurgents shot down the aircraft.
