Chris Bosh, the star power forward for the Miami Heat, could miss the rest of the NBA season as the player may have blood clots in his lungs, the Miami Herald reported.

Bosh, who won two NBA championships with the Heat alongside LeBron James and Dwyane Wade, has been admitted to a Miami hospital, but initial tests were inconclusive. If he has blood clots in his lungs, he will miss the remainder of the season.

The loss of Bosh would be huge for the Heat, as the team is in playoff contention in the NBA’s Eastern Conference. The team just acquired guard Goran Dragic, a player that was poised to help the team’s playoff ambitions.

Bosh is averaging 21.1 points and 7 rebounds per game this season.
