Windows smashed at Wiltshire mosque
Police are investigating whether an attack on a mosque in Swindon was linked to clashes sparked by the publication of cartoons caricaturing the Prophet Mohamed.
Worshippers arrived for prayers on Wednesday to find that windows had been smashed overnight. Mansoor Khan, of the Thames Down Islamic Association Centre, said: "It's sheer ignorance. The people who have done this do not have enough information."
Mr Khan said there had been no protests in Swindon over the cartoons although there had been a petition which worshippers sent to the Danish embassy, the country where the cartoons were first published.
