Three children died and three people were rescued after a house fire in Northumberland last night.
Three children died and three people were rescued after a house fire in Northumberland last night.
Three other people escaped from the fire at the semi-detached house in East Acres, Widdrington, police said today.
A fireman was injured and treated in hospital overnight.
A Northumbria fire brigade spokeswoman said they were called to a "severe fire" in the ground floor of the property just before midnight.
The cause of the fire is being investigated.
