A teacher who was shot by a suspended 15-year-old pupil who had drawn up a 'hit list' has been awarded an interim payment of pounds 7,500 by the Criminal Injuries Compensation Board. Roderic Findlay, 50, a housemaster at Colston's School, Bristol, still cannot use his left hand.
