Surgeon's appeal

The Court of Appeal agreed to consider fresh medical evidence which defence lawyers say casts doubt on the murder conviction of orthopaedic surgeon Paul Vickers, jailed in 1981 for giving his wife, who was schizophrenic, a drug overdose.
