Warsi cleared over claims for expenses
The Conservative Party said its co-chairman, Baroness Warsi, had been cleared by a House of Lords investigation of expenses irregularities.
Paul Kernaghan, the Standards Commissioner at the House of Lords, has conducted an investigation into allegations that she claimed for accommodation expenses while staying at a friend's house.
Lady Warsi said: "I have always maintained that the allegations surrounding my expenses were untrue and I am delighted that Paul Kernaghan has dismissed them."
David Cameron said: "I am pleased that these allegations have been dismissed."
