A 'Loco Mobile' two-cylinder runabout made in 1899, trundling uphill north of Cuckfield in West Sussex during the London-to-Brighton veteran car run yesterday. Most attention was centred on the 1904 Darracq, Genevieve, star of the 1953 comedy film, which was taking part for the first time in 40 years. Photograph: Peter Macdiarmid
