Knifeman detained

A man who tried to knife a mounted guardsman outside Buckingham Palace was ordered to be detained under the Mental Health Act. Southwark Crown Court was told that the attack by Adrian Segal, 33, of Bethnal Green, east London, was witnessed by dozens of tourists. The guardsman was not hurt.
