Monday morning misery for commuters after delays into Euston station

Rail commuters on a busy route into London had their journeys severely disrupted today.

The problem on services into Euston station was caused by a derailed engineering train in the Bletchley area and overhead wire problems at Queen's Park in north west London.

West Coast main line operator Virgin Rail had to cancel some services, as did the London Midland train company.

The Southern train company was unable to run services between Milton Keynes Central and Watford Junction.
