Fans 'mistreated'

Tom Pendry, the shadow sports minister, has urged the Government to demand an apology from Turkey over the way Manchester United fans were treated there last week. He said: 'In some cases Manchester fans were dragged out of their beds. We seem all too ready to take this on the chin, but there has clearly been grave injustice inflicted on scores of British passport-holders.'
