EU helps rebuild folly

CommentsThe 18th-century folly at Pontypool, Gwent, rebuilt with help of local authority and EU funds. The 38ft tower was demolished in 1940 because the Ministry of Defence feared that it would help guide German bombers to a nearby arms factory.
