Mr Leon Clore, of London SW3, the film producer, left estate valued at pounds 264,857 net.

Professor Geoffrey Reginald Giles, of Roundhay, Leeds, former Professor of Surgery at Leeds University, head of the academic unit at St James's University Hospital, Leeds, left estate valued at pounds 195,622 net.

Mr John Netterville Barron, of Fordingbridge, Hampshire, the plastic surgeon, left estate valued at pounds 250,416 net.

The Rev Peter Watts Pitt Brook, of Clifton, Bristol, rugby player and chaplain of Clifton College, left estate valued at pounds 124,603 net. After leaving certain bequests to her staff, she left clothes and effects to the Jewish Welfare Board; one-sixth of the residue to Newnham College, Cambridge; a further one-sixth of the residue for the improvement of understanding between Christians and Jews; one-sixth of the residue to the Council of Christians and Jews; her pictures and paintings, half her effects not otherwise bequeathed and one- twelfth of the residue to Clare College, Cambridge; a further one-twelfth of the residue for the improvement of understanding between Christians and Jews;one- twelfth of the residue to Roedean School; and a further one-twelfth of the residue to improve understanding between Christians and Jews; and one-twelfth of the residue each to the Union of Liberal and Progressive Synagogues and the London Voluntary Service Council for the Greater London Standing Conference of Voluntary Youth Organisations.

Miss Amelia Christina Williams, of Liverpool, left estate valued at pounds 176, 087 net. She left her entire estate equally between the RNID and the Guide Dogs for the Blind Association.
