Obituary: John Sturges

MAY I point out an error in Gilbert Adair's obituary for John Sturges (24 August)? writes Edwin T. Hurford. Contrary to several reference books, Jayne Mansfield did not appear in Jane Russell's film Underwater. She made a name for herself in Florida while on a promotional tour for the picture, but did not appear in the film itself.
