New York luxury hotel testing on Lenny Kravitz before opening

Apparently he has the run of the place

The yet-to-open 5-star Edition Hotel in New York City is preparing for launch by having its 300-person staff wait on Lenny Kravitz.

The singer is staying in the penthouse suite, according to Page Six, which will cost $8,000 a night when it opens to the public and features sweeping views of the city and a dining room with seating for 30.

Kravitz is staying there for free as he is friends with the owner Ian Schrager, and according to the publication's sources 'has the run of the place', with the staff 'on point to tend to his every request' and Kravitz having been spotted roaming the halls like the ghost of 90s R&B funk rock.

The hotel also apparently played host to an after party for the Avengers: Age of Ultron premiere, which saw Jeremy Renner, 50 Cent, Jennifer Connelly and Paul Bettany in attendance.
