BUCKINGHAM PALACE

13 July: By command of The Queen, the Lord Camoys, Lord- in-Waiting, was present at Heathrow Airport, London, this afternoon, upon the arrival of The President of the Republic of Cyprus, and welcomed His Excellency on behalf of Her Majesty.

13 July: The Duke of Edinburgh left Prestwick Airport this morning for a visit to Boston, United States of America.

Mr Brian McGrath is in attendance.

13 July: The Prince Edward, Chairman of The Duke of Edinburgh's Award Special Projects Group, this evening attended the 'Pride of Lions' Dinner in support of the Award at the Moat House Hotel, Northampton, and was received by Her Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant for Northamptonshire (Mr John Lowther).

Lieutenant-Colonel Sean O'Dwyer was in attendance.

13 July: The Princess Royal, Patron, Victim Support, today attended the launch of the Report of the Inter-Agency Working Party on Domestic Violence at the House of Commons, Westminster, London SW1.

The Countess of Lichfield was in attendance.

KENSINGTON PALACE

13 July: The Prince of Wales, Colonel, Welsh Guards, received Colonel Charles Watt on relinquishing command of the First Battalion, and Lieutenant-Colonel Timothy Purdon on assuming the appointment.

His Royal Highness, Colonel- in-Chief, Fifth Royal Inniskilling Dragoon Guards, subsequently received Lieutenant-Colonel David Montgomery on relinquishing command of the Regiment, and Lieutenant-Colonel Edward Torrens-Spence on assuming command of the Royal Dragoon Guards, of which The Prince of Wales will be Colonel-in-Chief.

Finally, The Prince of Wales, Colonel, Welsh Guards, received Captain Matthew Rudd.

His Royal Highness, Founder Fellow, National Children's Home George Thomas Society, this evening gave a reception.

YORK HOUSE

11 July: The Duchess of Kent, Honorary Colonel of the Yorkshire Volunteers, today visited the Yorkshire Volunteers, Imphal Barracks, Fulford Road, York, and was met on arrival by Her Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant for North Yorkshire (Sir Marcus Worsley Bt) and later attended a Service at York Minster.

Mrs Julian Tomkins was in attendance.

13 July: The Duke of Kent, Grand Master, this evening attended a Reception of the Order of St Michael and St George in St James's Palace, London SW1.

Commander Roger Walker RN was in attendance.

The Queen attends a Service of the Order of St Michael and St George at St Paul's Cathedral, London EC4. The Duke of Edinburgh, President of the Royal Agricultural Society of the Commonwealth, attends the 1992 Conference and, as Patron and Trustee of the Duke of Edinburgh's Award, visits Calgary, Canada. The Queen Mother attends the Royal Tournament at Earl's Court, London SW5. The Princess of Wales, President, Barnardo's, attends a conference to promote awareness of HIV and Aids at the Royal Lancaster Hotel, London W2. The Princess Royal, President, Animal Health Trust, attends a luncheon at Whixley Hall, Whixley, Yorkshire; and, as President, National Federation of Young Farmers' Club, attends the 1992 Yorkshire Show, Harrogate. The Duke of Kent, Grand Master, accompanied by The Duchess of Kent, attends the annual service of the Order of St Michael and St George in St Paul's Cathedral, London EC4; and takes the salute at the evening performance of the Royal Tournament at Earl's Court, London SW5. Princess Alexandra attends a gala performance of Anything Goes given by the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art at the MacOwan Theatre, London W8.

The Household Cavalry Mounted Regi ment mounts The Queen's Life Guard at Horse Guards, 11am; 1st Battalion Grenadier Guards mounts The Queen's Guard, at Buckingham Palace, 11.30am, band provided by the Irish Guards.
