7 June: The Duke of Edinbugh, Master, this evening attended the Younger Brethren's Dinner, Trinity House, London EC3.

Mr Brian McGrath was in attendance.

7 June: The Princess Royal, Patron, Sense, the National Deaf-Blind Rubella Association, this morning visited Carnbooth School, Carmunnock, Glasgow, and was received by Her Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant for the City of Glasgow (Mr Robert Innes, the Right Hon the Lord Provost).

Her Royal Highness, President, Save the Children Fund, later visited the fund's shop, 16 Princes Square, East Kilbride, and was received by Her Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant for Lanarkshire (Mr Hutchinson Burt Sneddon).

The Princess Royal, President, Save the Children Fund, this afternoon visited the Rosemount Project Base, 331 Charles Street, Royston, Glasgow.

Her Royal Highness afterwards attended the Launch of 'Children in Scotland', City Chambers, Glasgow.

Mrs David Bowes-Lyon was in attendance.

ST JAMES'S PALACE

7 June: The Prince of Wales this morning visited Lancaster and was received by Her Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant for Lancashire (Mr Simon Townley).

His Royal Highness named a British Rail Locomotive City of Lancaster.

The Prince of Wales, Patron, Landmark Trust, later visited the Music Room.

His Royal Highness afterwards received the Freedom of the City of Lancaster.

The Prince of Wales subsequently visited the Ashton Memorial, Williamson Park.

His Royal Highness then visited Lancaster Castle.

The Prince of Wales, Patron, Royal Society of Nature Conservation, this afternoon opened the English Nature's National Nature Reserve, Ingleborough, and was received by Her Majesty's Lord- Lieutenant for North Yorkshire (Sir Marcus Worsley Bt).

Commander Richard Aylard RN was in attendance.

His Royal Highness this evening attended the Saudi-British Society 1993 Annual Dinner, the Cafe Royal, Regent Street, London SW1.

KENSINGTON PALACE

7 June: The Duke of Gloucester, Commissioner, English Heritage, this morning opened the Building Conservation Training Centre, Fort Brockhurst, Gosport, Hampshire.

His Royal Highness was received by Her Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant for Hampshire (Lieutenant-Colonel Sir James Scott Bt).

Major Nicholas Barne was in attendance.

7 June: The Duke of Kent this morning visited the John Hampden Grammar School, Marlow Hill, High Wycombe, and was met on arrival by Her Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant for Buckinghamshire (Commander the Honourable John Fremantle). His Royal Highness later visited the Wycombe District Council, Queen Victoria Road, High Wycombe.

The Duke of Kent, Vice-Chairman, the British Overseas Trade Board, this afternoon visited Harrison and Sons Limited, Harrison House, Coates Lane, High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire.

The Duke of Kent later visited the Evreham Youth Centre, Evreham School Site, Swallow Street, Iver, and was met on arrival by Mr John Paterson (Vice Lord- Lieutenant of Buckinghamshire).

The Duchess of Kent this evening attended a dinner hosted by the British Lebanese Association at the Dorchester Hotel, London SW1.

Changing of the Guard

The Household Cavalry Mounted Regiment mounts the Queen's Life Guard at Horse Guards, 11am; 1st Battalion the King's Regiment mounts the Queen's Guard, at Buckingham Palace, 11.30am, band provided by the King's Regiment.
