(Relaxnews) -

"Paranormal Activity" is back into the top position on Twitter's trending topics on Wednesday October 7 thanks to a viral marketing campaign crafted by the film's promoters.

Paranormal Activity is a film that draws on a young couple's experience with a demonic 'force' that comes to haunt them at night when they move into a suburban house. The documentary-styled horror film had a limited release on September 25 in the US but is now planing a nationwide release - if fans vote for it.

The campaign asks for people to vote for a nationwide release saying, "Hit 1,000,000 demands and Paranormal Activity will open nation wide".

People on Twitter are asking their friends and followers to ensure the movie makes it out of art-house cinemas and into the mainstream by encouraging them to spread the word and vote on the official site, http://www.paranormalmovie.com.

Amazon has finally announced the world-wide release of their popular eReader, Kindle. The news arrived on the morning of October 7 and Twitter users were quick to tweet about the availability of the international Kindle eReader.

People in over 100 countries will be able to purchase the new "Kindle with U.S. & International Wireless" device which will go on sale on October 19 for $279.

On the 57th anniversary of the creation of the barcode Google has replaced their usual logo with a specially designed barcode (that reads "Google" when scanned). People on Twitter are using their 140 characters to comment about the logo and directing their followers to the google.com homepage so they can see the logo that will be on view for just one day.
