Chinese video game fans continue to fuel the fastest-growing search trends on Google Search with the term "dnf1100" keeping the number one postion on the morning of October 8.

People in China are searching for the website, www.dnf1100.net - a site that links to plug-ins and free downloads for the video game Dungeon Fighter. The Korean-made beat 'em up"- style MMORPG (massively multiplayer online role-playing game) published by Nexon is proving to be popular with Chinese gamers.

Japanese residents are searching for the terms typhoon ("????" in Japanese) and weather forecast ("????" in Japanese) as a typhoon rages along the southern coast of Japan. The storm is expected to cause heavy rain and strong winds when it passes through the center of Japan on October 8.

Searches for the name of The Late Show TV host David Letterman have skyrocketed after he publicly apologised on Season 17, Episode 3192 to his wife and co-workers for having "several affairs" with young women that were working with him on the late night comedy show.

The apology came after Joe Halderman - an ex boyfriend of one of the girls Letterman was allegedly sleeping with - was arrested for trying to extort 2 million dollars from Letterman to keep his secret from the media.
