'Gang members' face murder
Three alleged members of an Asian gang were charged with the murder of the Oscar-winning actor Haing Ngor, a refugee who survived Cambodia's killing fields only to be shot down on the streets of Los Angeles.
Prosecutors claim the actor's murder was not a political assassination orchestrated by his sworn enemies, the Khmer Rouge, as his friends first suspected, but a robbery that turned deadly.
