Inquiry into solar panel 'dumping'
The European Union has launched an inquiry into the alleged "dumping" of solar panels by Chinese manufacturers.
The investigation follows claims by European solar panel makers that Chinese imports are being sold at less than their cost price.
The EU will look into whether Chinese manufacturers are being illegally subidised by their government. In May the United States slapped a 31 per cent tariff on solar panel imports from China.
