Innovation: Image creator

THE University of Strathclyde wants to license a prototype software package that it says can extract images from corrupted or incomplete data. The university has applied for a patent for the system, which has been tested on ultrasound images of the heart. This allowed faster and more accurate diagnosis of heart disease, the university reported.
