High Court bans Lotus directors
THREE DIRECTORS of the former Formula One outfit Team Lotus Ltd have been banned by the High Court from being company directors, the Department of Trade and Industry said yesterday.
Peter Timothy Collins, James Anthony McDougall and Peter Godfrey Wright were banned from acting as directors for nine, eight and seven years respectively. The bans follow the collapse of TLL Realisations - formerly Team Lotus Ltd - which was wound up by the courts in 1995 with debts of over pounds 12m. The Team Lotus name was sold by administrators and is now run by an entirely separate company.
