GWR raises stake in Stray FM
GWR, the largest commercial radio group in the UK and owner of Classic FM, has brought Stray FM, a Harrogate-based commercial radio station, in partnership with Radio Investments for pounds 3.03m.
GWR will raise its stake from 29.97 per cent at present to 49 per cent. Radio Investments will raise its stake from 6.5 per cent to 51 per cent. Radio Investments has existing stakes in 14 radio stations and owns 9 others in partnership with GWR.
