Appeal hope
GENERAL ELECTRIC, the US engineering company, said it 'strongly disagrees' with a Federal Court's award of close to dollars 13m to a former employee who blew the whistle on an Israeli bribery scheme involving the company.
'We hope the government will appeal the ruling,' the company said in a statement after the award was announced.
