Regional merger

Leeds-based Simpson Curtis and Birmingham-based Pinsent & Co have merged to form Pinsent Curtis. The firm joins the country's top 20, with fee income in excess of £35m, 97 partners and a staff of more than 650.

The merger follows the confirmation this week of the link-up of Turner Kenneth Brown with Nabarro Nathanson, which enters the top 10 in terms of staff numbers with 128 partners and 370 other legal personnel.
