Considered the holy grail of Korean skincare, sheet masks have become hugely popular for the various benefits they purportedly offer.

And with sheet masks capable of hydrating, anti-ageing, removing wrinkles, and clearing skin, it is no wonder they are now created for other body parts - now including pregnant bellies.

Now mums-to-be can get in on the fun - with Hatch Mama Belly Masks, made specifically with growing bellies in mind.

Offering the same benefits of sheet masks designed for your face, the new hydrating belly mask looks like a much larger version of your typical sheet mask - minus the holes for your nose, mouth, and eyes.

Created with aloe vera and propolis, a mixture produced by bees often called “bee glue,” the mask promises to soothe and reduce inflammation and heal and rebuild damaged skin cells, according to the Hatch Mama website.

Most importantly, the belly mask, or belly facial, as the Hatch Mama website declares, promises to reduce the appearance of stretch marks while pampering mums-to-be.

While stretch marks are a completely normal and acceptable part of pregnancy, the belly mask provides an alternative to stretch mark lotions or excessive application of coconut oil.

And the mask isn’t just for pregnant bellies either.

According to the description, the sheet mask can “help soften inflamed scar tissue postpartum” - meaning scars left from C-sections.

Available for just £8.52 ($12) the belly mask is perfect for mums that want to keep their skin baby smooth.
