Preview: Go bananas

High in fibre and packed with goodness. It sounds like a breakfast cereal but actually it's The Claire Russ Ensemble letting rip at the fruit and vegetable counter in Claire Russ's latest dance piece Gourmet. Having run riot at the salad bar, the dancers then do a bit of egg dancing in which free range breakfast foods are cracked with abandon and rubbed into bare flesh. As gimmicks go, you could do worse than adopt one that cries out for sponsorship by a major supermarket. Dance? If you say so. An unusual night out? Dead right.
