Newsbrief: Pounds 10 spot fines net Tube cash haul

London Underground ticket sales went up by pounds 1.8m in the week after the introduction of pounds 10 spot fines. According to Underground bosses, the true scale of fare dodging may be double previous estimates of pounds 30m a year.
