Sophie Turner has shared a happy birthday message for Joe Jonas on Instagram, referring to her husband as her “baby daddy”.

In July, it was reported that Turner had given birth to the couple’s first child, a baby girl, in Los Angeles.

The Game of Thrones star and the musician started dating in 2016, announcing their engagement in October 2017 before getting married in a surprise Las Vegas ceremony in May 2019.

They held a second wedding ceremony in France a month later, with the bride wearing a lace gown by Louis Vuitton for the nuptials.

On Saturday 15 August, Turner shared a black-and-white photograph of herself and Jonas on Instagram in honour of his 31st birthday.

The 24-year-old captioned the image: “Happy birthday to my love/bub/baby daddy.”

Several Instagram users commented on the Turner’s decision to refer to Jonas as her “baby daddy”.

Neither of the couple have shared images of their daughter on social media.

“Holy s*** Sophie did u just say baby daddy,” one person said, while another wrote: “Baby daddy you tell em Soph.”

Upon the birth of their daughter, a representative for the couple said: “Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas are delighted to announce the birth of their baby.”

Earlier this month, Jonas and Turner urged fans to wear masks by sharing their first photograph together on social media since the birth of their daughter.

The singer shared a picture on his Instagram Story of him and his partner posing on a sofa on the front of a mock-up Vogue magazine cover.

The cover read: “August Issue 2020. Wear a mask. That’s the tea.”
