Blake Lively trolls husband Ryan Reynolds with adorable birthday post on Instagram

Blake Lively has poked fun at her husband Ryan Reynolds with a sweet birthday message posted on social media.

On Wednesday, the Deadpool star turned 43 years old.

Lively, his wife of seven years, used his birthday to share a glimpse of their playful relationship with her 25 million Instagram followers.

The A Simple Favour actor posted a close-up photo of herself and Reynolds, which shows her sticking a finger up his nostril as he looks into the distance smirking.

The 32-year-old shared the image alongside the caption: “I picked a good one. Happy birthday @vancityreynolds.”

Several of Lively’s Instagram followers praised the fun-loving nature of their relationship.

“You guys are so cute,” one person wrote, while another sarcastically commented: “True love doesn’t exist – oh wait.”

Salma Hayek, Reynolds’ co-star in The Hitman’s Bodyguard, joined Lively in mocking the Pokémon Detective Pikachu actor on the occasion of his birthday.

Hayek shared a photograph on Instagram of herself and Reynolds posing with a bottle of his Aviation gin, alongside a comedic caption.

“Yes Ryan, I am using your birthday to post this picture where I don’t look so bad, while you look all beat up,” the actor wrote.

“I’d like to take this opportunity to remind you that you were gonna send me some Aviation gin for MY birthday AND THAT WAS ALMOST TWO MONTHS AGO...”

Reynolds commented underneath Hayek’s post, saying that he was going to send her so much Aviation gin “it might actually ruin” her life.

“Also, your swimming pool isn’t filled with water anymore. Go on... take a sip,” he added.

Earlier this year, Reynolds made fun of Lively by sharing a series of hilarious photographs of them together for her birthday.

In almost every one of the 10 pictures, Lively is caught off guard while Reynolds strikes his most photogenic pose for the camera.

“I really think you captured her essence in these shots,” wrote model and make-up artist Tess Holliday.

Earlier this month, Reynolds confirmed the arrival of his and Lively’s third child with a photograph shared on Twitter.

The couple have two elder daughters, four-year-old James and three-year-old Inez.
