Kourtney Kardashian and daughter Penelope find house decorated in toilet roll

Khloe Kardashian is being accused of “insensitivity” after covering her sister’s home in toilet paper amid continued shortages of the product as a result of the coronavirus pandemic.

On Saturday, Kourtney Kardashian shared videos of her toilet-paper covered home, driveway, and trees on her Instagram Stories, where she wrote: “Thanks @KhloeKardashian”.

“So I haven’t had this much excitement in months,” Kourtney can be heard saying as she spans across the lawn of her home, which has been strewn with toilet paper. “This is what I come out to. This is what Mason and Koko do when they have a sleepover.

“This is actually genius.”

The mother-of-three then implied that she will be getting her sister back, telling daughter Penelope: “Next time, guess what we’re gonna do, P.”

The “shameful” prank did not go over well on social media, however, where people criticised Khloe for wasting toilet paper while many people around the world are struggling to find it as a result of panic buying — and her sister for finding it amusing.

“We’re in the middle of a pandemic and Khloe tp’d Kourtney’s house while some people are literally struggling to find toilet paper in stores. The privilege jumped out,” one person tweeted.

Another said: “Khloe Kardashian wasted toilet paper like this last night when everyone can’t find toilet paper. I guess they don’t know what’s going on in the world.”

“Khloe Kardashian proudly toilet papers Kourtney Kardashian’s mansion as a prank, even though there’s a worldwide shortage of toilet paper. Can this whole annoying family just go away now, please?”

This is not the first time a member of the Kardashian-Jenner family has been accused of “tone-deaf” behaviour amid the pandemic.

In April, Kendall Jenner faced backlash after revealing she feels “so blessed” during an Instagram Live video with Justin Bieber.

In the clip, the supermodel agreed that she and Bieber are “blessed” after he pointed out that many people “have a crappy situation” amid the coronavirus pandemic.

“I think about it all the time,” Jenner said, later adding that she was quarantining in her “literally favourite place on the planet”, her Beverly Hills home, which she reportedly purchased for $8.5m.

“I worked for, like, so long to get it to the point it’s at,” the 24-year-old said. “I renovated it for about a year.”
