Social media health professionals are nominated weekly on #MedicalMonday by Twitter users. Here are the top tweeters that you may want to follow for healthful information.

All of the nominees have been tweeting for a minimum of one year with a certain number of RTs (retweets or re-posts) and interaction with the health care social media community (HCSM).

Also, "one winner each month will be selected to win a year subscription to Schedgehog.com" ($390/€303), a free app for a health care professional's patients to manage appointments based on tweets and followers.
