In less than week, the wait will be over for fans of the celebrity chef and TV host, who is often called Britain's most inventive culinary master.
Dinner, Blumenthal's newest project, is set to open on January 31 at the Mandarin Oriental hotel in London, and will begin accepting reservations on December 1, the hotel said on November 24.
In an interview last week, Blumenthal said that Dinner will differ from his celebrated three Michelin star-rated current venture, the Fat Duck, where he serves up cutting edge dishes composed of headline-grabbing ingredients.
Dinner will serve historic British cuisine with a fun, modern twist, at comparatively low prices-The set lunch menu is priced at £25 (€29).

Other new high-profile London restaurants include Jamie Oliver's latest venture Barbecoa, and Gordon Ramsay's Savoy Grill, slated to reopen on November 29. Ramsay also has a new restaurant expected to open at the end of January.
